Joining the Boss family was the best thing we ever did! My son started with hip hop and soon after added tap, jazz, and ballet, and then acting. He even played the lead role in a short film with a director from California that was shot on the South Shore. The past 11 years have been filled with some great experiences for my whole family. End of the year shows, winter shows, star studded competitons, Mohegan Sun, two trips to Walt Disney World. And to watch your child dance on the Beauty and the Beast stage is incredible! Two of my children are Boss alumni and one is currently a student at Boss Academy. They all started out with dance and two added to their talents, thriving in acting, voice, and competitive dance. For all three, the self-confidence and discipline they gained by dancing and performing is incredible. It really has given them valuable life lessons like determination, friendship, support, team work, and confidence; these are all qualities they will use throughout life. My daughter is going into her 12th year at Boss Academy. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and takes multiple dance classes such as ballet, jazz, tap, technique, and tumbling. She has been a part of amazing competition dance teams that have won many awards. She has learned more than just dance - what it means to be part of a team and to be depended on, as well as to depend on others. She danced with Boss at Disney at Disney Springs and the Beauty and the Beast Stage, which was pretty amazing! She has made a lot of friends over the years, and some that have become more like family.

Starting dance at the age of 2, my daughter is now going into her 7th year at Boss Academy and 13th year of dance. She started dancing at another studio, and making move to Boss Academy was by far the best choice! She had capped out at the other studio and needed a place that would challenge her abilities.
